In the hope of enabling the marginalised to find a voice the translators, an anthropologist, a poet and a linguist, transcribed four Jah Hut myths as told to the by the late shaman, Batin Long bin Hok. The Jah Hut are a tribe of indigenous people, known as orang asli in Malaysia, who number about two thousand in the state of Pahang. The book is bilingual in the Jah Hut language and in English
