Ringkasan :Local anaesthetic agents are the most commonly used
analgesics for relieving the peroperative and postoperative
pain associated with dental treatment. There are
many local anaesthetics available with a wide selection
of vasoconstricting agents that improve the clinical
efficacy and the duration of the local anaesthetic by
decreasing the absorption rate of the local anaesthetic
agent. In Scandinavia there seems to be a general
clinical preference, irrespective of type of dental treatment,
for local anaesthetics that contain lignocaine
2% combined with adrenaline in a concentration of
1/80 000.
