Summary :
Paul Sheldon is Annie Wilkes's favourite writer. When Annie finds Paul badly injured after a car accident, she takes him back to her lonely farm to look after him. But things, and Annie, are not what they seem. Paul soon realises he is not her patient, but her prisoner.
