Summary :
Bangabandhu and Bangladesh are words imbued with a single stream of spirit. As both continue to transcend the barriers of time and space, as ideations and as realities, the year 2021 falls on the cusp of two milestones signifying a metamorphological connection in the appreciation of our understanding of both Bangabandhu and Bangladesh. Thus, for the Foreign Office and for myself, it is a matter of profound privilege to witness the publication of this compilation of messages containing greetings and felicitations from the Heads of States and Governments from around the world as well as those from the Heads of International Organizations, the United Nations and its affiliates - which we received on the auspicious occasion of the Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Golden Jubilee of our independence.
