Summary :
Impeachment of President is one of central issues in the Amendment of the Indonesian 1945 Constitution. The Amendment was triggered by Abdurrahman Wahid impeachment in 2001. The impeachment of Abdurrahman Wahid has given a lesson to the Ad Hoe Committee for Amendment of the 1945 Constitution to revise and add some provisions on impeachment which give more guarantee the position of a President in his or her period. The prior 1945 Constitution had some weaknesses in the provision regarding impeachment of President. Therefore, a more serious study needs to be done to give scientific contributions to a better concept of impeachment in the 1945 Constitution. Bibliografi : Halaman 94-98
