After won 1st place in regional level in Academic Library Innovation Award (ALIA) 2021, the UMY Library again won the 2nd in national level award in ALIA 2021 which was organized by the Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI). ALIA 2021 is a form of implementation of the FPPTI work program which is held every 2 (two) years in conjunction with the FPPTI 21st Anniversary in October 2021.
The ALIA 2021 final event was held on Friday, October 8, 2021 via Zoom. The event is the finalization stage of the regional level election event sent by FPPTI in each region. At this stage the finalists must pass the presentation competition process and Forum Group Discussion (FGD) for six hours via Zoom. The finalist participants from the UMY Library were followed by 6 librarians, among others : Eko Kurniawan, Yuliana Ramawati, Muhkamad Fatori, and Muhammad Jubaidi.
UMY Library made an innovative work entitled "Division" Content Creator in Supporting UMY Digital Service Innovation”. This work discusses the development of creativity for UMY librarians as content creator for supporting service innovation at the UMY Library and packaging information and knowledge in a modern way in the digital era.
One of the social media used by the UMY Library as a medium for digital content is Instagram. UMY librarians try to update their contents every two days with attractive designs, both in the form of photo/video feeds, IG Story, IGTV, IG Live, and Reels. The process of creating content on Instagram social media includes: making upload schedules, determining themes, finding ideas or inspiration from various sources such as google images, design creation, and the content upload process.
