Maulid Nabi is celebrated to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which falls on  12th of Rabi'ul Awal on the Hijri calendar. There are values ??and meanings contained in the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, including containing spiritual values ??by expressing joy and gratitude for the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. This is a reflection of our love and respect for the Prophet Muhammad who has brought mercy to all mankind:

"Say, by the grace of Allah and His mercy (the Prophet Muhammad) let them welcome them with joy."." [Surah Yunus: 58]

In addition, the big day of the Prophet's Birthday contains moral values ??that can be learned by understanding the commendable morals in the exemplary story of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. As Allah affirms in Surah Al-Ahzab:

"Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (saw) has a good role model for you (that is) for those who hope for (the mercy of) Allah and (the coming of) the Day of Resurrection and call upon Allah a lot."[QS. Al-Ahzab: 21]

Thus, make the commemoration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad a momentum to improve morals by imitating the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad and also increase faith and devotion to Allah SWT.
