Muhammadiyah will enter its 109th year on November 18, 2021. Muhammadiyah Central Executive has issued a Circular for the Implementation of the Muhammadiyah Milad and a Theme Decision for the Logo of the 109th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah. The theme of Muhammadiyah's Anniversary this year is "Optimistic in Facing Covid-19: Spreading Main Values". The Circular of the 109th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah is delivered to Regional, Regional, Branch, Branch, and Heads of Autonomous Organizations and Muhammadiyah Charities as follows:

2. The 109th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah was held in a planned, orderly, solemn, and efficient manner while still displaying symbols and bringing important messages in accordance with the principles and mission of the Muhammadiyah movement, using limited online and/or offline methods and paying attention to the Covid-19 health protocol for the benefit together.

3. The commemoration of the 109th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah as well as an activity to socialize the Decree of Tanwir Muhammadiyah and 'Aisyiyah 2021 which established and ratified the holding of the 48th Muhammadiyah Congress and the 48th 'Aisyiyah Congress held on Friday–Sunday 18–20 November 2022 coinciding with 23 –25 Rabiulakhir 1444 H in Surakarta City, Central Java.

4. The types of activities and technical implementation of the commemoration of the 109th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah were handed over to all leaders of the Association, Business Charities, and Muhammadiyah Autonomous Organizations according to the capabilities, situation, and conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic while still paying attention to the mission of the Muhammadiyah movement.

5. The reception for the 109th anniversary of Muhammadiyah at the central level will be held online on Thursday 18 November 2021 at 09.00 – 11.00 WIB. The Central Executive of Muhammadiyah appealed to all leaders of the Union, Muhammadiyah Charities, and Autonomous Organizations of all levels, as well as Muhammadiyah residents to take part in the Anniversary Reception live via TVMu or the official social media of the Association, the details of which will be further informed.

6. The reception of the 109th Anniversary of Muhammadiyah at the lower levels will be held online at other times in accordance with the situation and conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic with the main agenda as follows:(1) Opening (2) Recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an (3) The song “Indonesia Raya” and the song “Sang Surya” (4) Welcome (5) Anniversary Speech (6) Closing

7. Muhammadiyah's 109th Anniversary Speeches were generally guided by the Muhammadiyah Central Executive, while specific matters were left to the respective Persyarikatan Leaders.

8. Leaders of the Union, Muhammadiyah Charities, and Muhammadiyah Autonomous Organizations in making symbols and publications according to the theme and logo of Muhammadiyah's 109th Anniversary above

9. Leaders of the Union, Muhammadiyah Charities, and Autonomous Organizations to disseminate this Circular on Guidelines for the Implementation of Muhammadiyah's 109th Anniversary in their respective environments
