UMY Library received a visit from the IAIN Kudus Library Team which opened 16 people on Tuesday (30/11/2021). The IAIN Kudus Library delegation was led by the head of the IAIN Kudus library, Mrs. Anisa Listiana, M.Ag along with 13 librarians and staff. The visit was warmly welcomed by the Head of UMY Library, Drs. Lasa Hs, M.Si and all UMY librarians in Building D lt. 1 UMY Library. The visit was intended to strengthen the relationship as well as to become a media for knowledge sharing for both the IAIN Kudus Library and the UMY Library. During the visit, he discussed various things about services and development at the UMY Library, including the development of Information Literacy, Human Resources development, library services during the pandemic. In addition, the meeting also discussed how Muhammadiyah & Aisyiyah College Libraries (PTMA) throughout Indonesia could network and establish good coordination to develop each other's libraries.

After that, it continued with a library tour to all UMY library service units such as independent booths, public spaces, repository rooms, American Corner, Warung France, Taiwan Education, Muhammadiyah Study Center, Muhammadiyah Corner, circulation rooms, reading rooms, and computer lab.  This visit is expected to further expand the network between University Libraries for the advancement and development of libraries in a better direction in the future.
