Tuesday, April 12, 2022. UMY Library had the opportunity to be covered by the Broadcasting Team from ADiTv. The ADiTv team led by Joko Pramono visited the UMY Library from morning to noon. Activities carried out by students and librarians are documented to represent the daily activities of librarians and UMY students.

The coverage of ADiTv aims to replace the old stigma associated with libraries. In general, the library is seen as a pile of books and seems boring. The library is synonymous with a place for bookworms or just coming to borrow books. The coverage carried out by ADiTv wants to convey the message that libraries, especially the UMY Library, are comfortable places with contemporary interior designs. Students can spend time in the UMY library to read, look for journal references using wifi, discuss with friends, study independently, or consult about writing with librarians.

The results of this coverage will be presented in the form of news and have been broadcast on Thursday 14 April 2022 which can be viewed on the YouTube page. Hopefully, this coverage can have a positive impact on the community and inspire libraries outside UMY.
