The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) launched an application called EPerpusdikbud. EPerpusdikbud is a digital library application owned by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia that can be accessed by the public for free through their mobile devices. EPerpusdikbud has around 200,000 collections from various categories which include fiction and non-fiction books, newspapers, magazines, and journals. This application is also equipped with an EReader to provide user convenience in reading ebooks.

The existence of the EPerpusdikbud application can be another alternative in finding references. Considering that UMY Library also has an application called the Ebook Perpustakaan UMY which can be downloaded through the Play Store. There is also an application owned by the National Library of Indonesia called EPusnas. This has a good impact on users, especially UMY students who can enjoy various facilities that can be enjoyed for free. Back to EPerpusdikbud, this application is used on Android and Iphone smartphones and the method is as follows.

How to Borrow a Book on the Eperpusdikbud Application
1. Install the Eperpusdikbud application on Playstore
2. Eperpusdikbud Account Registration
3. Login with the account that has been registered
4. Click the loop icon in the upper right corner
5. Type the title of the book you want, then click the book.
6. After that we will be shown a page containing the book and its information. Click "borrow". If it says "out of stock", it means that we have to queue first to get the book, because the books are being borrowed by many people. If you want to queue, you can click "tell me."
7. We wait for the download process to complete. After that, we can read it.

How to return books at Eperpusdikbud
1. After logging in and logging into the Eperpusdikbud application, click on the “device” section
2. On the book you want to return, click the three dots below the book image.
3. Select restore. Click “yes” on the confirmation.
