Writing scientific papers is also clear evidence that librarians are always updated with scientific developments, especially in the field of library science
The main event was the presentation of material by Lis Setyowati, S.Sos., M.A. He said bibliometrics is one of the research methods used by librarians to observe several things. Some of the points conveyed by the speakers included: research mapping, bibliometric mapping, bibliometric to support research processes (bibliometric mapping for literature search & bibliometric mapping for research topic exploration), and tools. He explained that the bibliometric approach is divided into 2 parts, namely: evaluate and relational. The majority of researchers in the field of libraries often use relational. In the relational section there are several options, including: literature search and literature exploration. Using bibliometrics the author can map research topics and co-author analysis.
The presentation of the material lasted about 45 minutes and was followed by a question and answer session. There were about 317 participants who attended the event. The enthusiasm of the participants in this event was very high, so many questions were addressed to the speakers. The question and answer session lasted about 60 minutes.
