American Spaces Annual Conference is an annual American Spaces conference throughout Indonesia which this year was held at American Corner UMY (13/6). American Spaces is one of the United States (US) foreign diplomacy platforms to involve local communities in conducting face-to-face public diplomacy. American Corner (AmCor) UMY is a partnership program between the Public Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Indonesia and UMY which has been in existence since April 2004. 

Participants who attended this conference included the Director of AmCor, AmCor staff, and AmCor volunteers throughout Indonesia. In addition, this event was also attended by the United States Embassy, ??namely Alison Behling and Deidra Avendasora. This event lasts for four days starting from 13 – 16 June 2022. The agenda at the conference includes workshops on creativity, smart goals, and technology as well as sharing programs owned by American Corner UMY so that they can be a reference for American Corners throughout Indonesia.

In accordance with the tagline at the event, "Together We Become Strong", Gita Fitri Larasati as the committee hopes that all American Spaces in Indonesia can strengthen each other and can rise again. "Hopefully this conference will be held so that we can share with each other, strengthen each other and rise again to revive American-american spaces throughout Indonesia," he explained.
