The UMY Library welcomed a visit from SMK Handayani Banjaran on Tuesday (29/6) at UMY Library D Building lt. 4 at 08.00 WIB. The participants of the visit were 70 class XII students who were accompanied by 6 teachers. The special agenda is in the context of comparative studies as well as getting to know more about the world of lectures and the study programs in it. The event was opened with remarks from UMY Library Representative, Novy Diana Fauzie, M,A. and continued with a speech delivered by the Representative of SMK Handayani, Dani Rohayadi, S.Pd.

After that, the next session is the presentation of the material. The first material was delivered by Novy Diana Fauzie, M.A. On that occasion, he explained about the archives and the UMY Library. Furthermore, the second material was delivered by a representative from the UMY Admissions Bureau, Marwadi Ahmad A.Md. Kom. He introduced more details about the study programs and facilities at UMY to the students. In addition, he also provides tips in choosing a university, namely choosing superior accreditation, adequate facilities, and affordable costs.

The event continued with a question and answer session, the handover of souvenirs from UMY and SMK Handayani Banjaran and continued with a group photo. The activity was closed with a library tour accompanied by the UMY Library team to introduce the services and facilities on the first to third floors of the UMY Library.
