The UMY Library held User Education (User Education) for new students to introduce the facilities and services available at the UMY Library. User education is training for new UMY students related to library facilities and services. In addition, new students will also be introduced to Information Literacy (LI) training. LI training is training that explains how to access and evaluate information, use MS Word optimally, how to prevent plagiarism, and use Reference Manager Tools (Mendeley, Zotero, and Endnote).

User education is mandatory for new students of the class of 2022 which is carried out online or offline (choose one). In the online session, students will listen to explanations from the UMY librarian via the Zoom platform for 60 minutes. While in the offline session, students can come to the Public Space on the 1st floor of the UMY Library and the librarian will explain the material through the LCD and continue with the Library Tour. After that, participants will get an e-certificate as proof that they have participated in the activity. This event takes place from September 21, 2022 to October 1, 2022.
