Muhammadiyah Corner UMY held the 2022 Muhammadiyah Corner Festival in welcoming the 48th Muhammadiyah Conference on Wednesday (16/11) at the UMY Library Building. This event also at the same time inaugurated the HistoricalMu website where the website is one of the efforts to digitize manuscripts and also document the history of Muhammadiyah. On this occasion the Head of the UMY Library, Novy Diana Fauzie, S.S., MA. in his remarks said that this website could be a medium for people outside UMY to still be able to see the history of Muhammadiyah digitally.

"What about our friends who are outside the UMY campus? That's why we created the website portalHistory.umy.ac.id whose contents are manuscripts, ancient photographs, ancient manuscripts that have been stored in Muhammadiyah Corner which maybe not many people out there know about. Thank God UMY has digitized it in Yourhistory.umy.ac.id” she explained.

On the same occasion the Chancellor of UMY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P IPM, in his remarks hoped that this platform would play an important role in strengthening historical networks, especially Muhammadiyah. "I hope the HajiMu website can participate in strengthening historical networks so that our young generation cannot be separated from the history of Muhammadiyah."

The 2022 Muhammadiyah Corner Festival was also enlivened by a series of events, namely an essay competition with the theme "Moderate People for Dignified Indonesia" and an Instagram video reels competition with the theme "All about Muhammadiyah Corner".
