The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program is a full scholarship from the Hungarian government which provides opportunities for foreign students from around the world including Indonesia to continue their higher education studies in Hungary. In addition, this program also aims to promote the internationalization of Hungarian higher education and attract the best foreign students from around the world to be able to establish personal and professional attachment to Hungary. This scholarship program is managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation. The program is based on a bilateral educational cooperation agreement signed between the Ministry responsible for education in the sending country/region and Hungary.
The Hungarian government offers full scholarships for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees, to non-certified degree programs. Applications for this scholarship are open for the 2023 – 2024 academic year through the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program scheme managed by the Tempus Public Foundation. In addition, this Hungarian Government scholarship has also collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) as a Sending Partner to select applicants. In 2023 - 2024, Indonesia will get a quota of 110 Hungarian government scholarship seats.
