The UMY Library received a visit from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta on Monday (2/12/2022) at the UMY Library Building. This visit was aimed at benchmarking the services and facilities at the UMY Library Building as well as the signing of an MoU between the two libraries. On this occasion led directly by the Head of the Library of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Amrullah Hasbana, S.Ag., SS., MA., along with 30 other employees consisting of librarians, cleaners, security, etc.

In his remarks, the Head of the UMY Library, Novy Diana Fauzie, M.A., thanked the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Library for the friendly visit and made the UMY Library a destination for benchmarking activities. After that, further remarks were delivered by the head of the Syarif Hidayatullah UIN Library, Amrullah Hasbana, S.Ag., S.S., M.A. In his remarks he also expressed his gratitude for the welcome from the host, namely the UMY Library.

The next event was a sharing session delivered by Novy Diana Fauzie, MA, and Arda Putri Winata, M.A  who are UMY librarians. In this session he explained about human resource management (HR), library services, basic information literacy, budget for activities, etc. Then the event continued with the handing over of souvenirs as well as the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The activity was closed with a library tour accompanied by the UMY Library team to introduce the services and facilities on the first to third floors of the UMY Library.
