In order to improve capabilities in research and scientific publications, the UMY Library is holding Research Week 2023 which will be held on 6 – 10 November 2023. This activity is a webinar activity organized by the UMY Library to support research and scientific publications of UMY students and lecturers.

This Research Week activity lasted for five days with various themes. There were several resources presented at this event, including Dwijanto Suandaru (Proquest Central), Mabel Tang (Springer Nature), Sastriyati (Turnitin), Johan Jang (Scopus), and Irwan Sukardi (Emerald).

Apart from these webinar activities, the 2023 Research Week series also provides Scientific Consultation services which are carried out offline at Public Space lt. 1 UMY Library. This consultation service is provided for the UMY academic community who wish to consult regarding how to access journal articles, how to publish scientific papers in reputable journals, tips on avoiding plagiarism, etc. This scientific consultation service will also take place on 6 – 10 November 2023 at 12.30 – 15.00 WIB.

This series of activities aims to increase knowledge of international journal database access and understanding of how to publish reputable journals. It is hoped that this Research Week can improve the quality of research and publications by the UMY academic community.
