On Wednesday (29/11) the UMY Library held Adobe Illustrator training for UMY librarians in the Repository Room, lt. 2 UMY Library. The training was attended by 7 participants consisting of 5 librarians and 2 temporary UMY staff. The resource person/trainer for this training was Hilmy Abiyyu As'ad, S.Sos., who is the Designer of the UMY Public Relations and Protocol Bureau.

On this occasion, Hilmy explained the various powerful features available in Adobe Illustrator, starting from using various tools, color gradations, selecting color palettes, typography, to creating designs. Adobe Illustrator itself is software for vector-based graphic editors, developed and marketed by the leading software company Adobe Systems.

This training activity aims to improve the ability of librarians to utilize Adobe Illustrator software in creating illustrations and graphic designs on social media content which can become promotional media for the UMY Library.
